π Returns & Refund Policy
At Adult Weekender, we want you to look your best for every Big Weekender. As we sell both standard fancy dress (costumes, wigs, accessories) and custom-made (personalised printing) items, our return rules differ depending on the product type.
Please read the section below that applies to the item you ordered.
1. Fancy Dress & Standard Stock Items
(Applies to Smiffys costumes, accessories, wigs, and standard non-customised props)
- Return Window: You may return standard items within 30 days of receipt for a refund.
Condition Requirements
To be eligible for a refund, items must be:
- Unworn and Unused: Items must not show any signs of wear, sweat, or use.
- In Original Packaging: You must include the original header card, plastic packaging, and any included accessories.
- Resaleable: The item must be folded neatly and in a condition suitable for resale.
β οΈ Strict Hygiene Exclusions
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on the following items if the packaging has been opened (even if just inspected):
- Wigs & Headpieces
- Hosiery (Tights, Stockings, Fishnets)
- Underwear & Lingerie
- Cosmetics (Face Paint, Makeup, Eyelashes, Contact Lenses)
Rejected Returns: If you return any of the above "Hygiene Exclusion" items in an opened or worn condition, your refund will be denied.
We can dispose of the item for you, or if you want it returned to you, we will charge a Β£5.99 tracked postage fee to send it back.
2. Personalised & Print-on-Demand Items
(Applies to "Big Weekender" T-Shirts, Hoodies, and Mugs with custom names/designs)
These items are made-to-order specifically for you. In compliance with UK Consumer Law regarding bespoke goods:
- No Returns or Exchanges: We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or event cancellations.

Exceptions: We WILL replace or refund personalised items if:
- The item arrives damaged or faulty.
- There is a manufacturing defect (e.g., print error).
- We made a mistake (e.g., sent the wrong size vs. what was ordered).
Please check your sizing and spelling carefully before ordering.
3. How to Return an Item
- Form: Complete the Returns Form on our website or include a note inside the package with your Order Number, Name, and Reason for Return.
- Pack: Securely pack the item. Do not stick labels directly onto the product packaging (e.g., costume bags); please use an outer mailing bag or box.
- Ship: Send the package via a tracked postal service to the address below. You are responsible for the return shipping cost.

4. Refunds & Processing Time
- Inspection: Returns are inspected within 2β3 business days of arrival.
- Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receipt.
- Payment Method: Funds are automatically returned to your original payment method.
- Shipping Costs: Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
5. Damaged or Faulty Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:
- Contact us at sales@adultweekender.com within 3 days of delivery.
- Include your Order Number and Photos of the fault.
- We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping) for verified errors.
