Butlin’s Big Weekenders 2025: Your Guide to the Best Party Breaks - Adult Weekender

Butlin’s Big Weekenders 2025: Your Guide to the Best Party Breaks

Planning a group trip in 2025? Butlin’s Big Weekenders are three-day, adults-only breaks with live music, pool parties, quizzes, and themed nights across Bognor Regis, Minehead, and Skegness. Below is a quick guide to the main weekend themes and what to expect, so you can pick the right one for your group.

What’s new in 2025

  • DJ Spoony presents UNDRGRND – a new multi-genre club Weekender at Skegness.
  • Madness House of Fun Weekender – the legendary party returns late November.
  • Ultimate 80s Thriller, 90s Reloaded Fright Nights, Back to the 2000s Y2K Scares, Replay Time Warp Terror – Halloween twists on the biggest decade themes.

Core weekend themes (pick your vibe)

  • Ultimate 80s – original artists and tributes from the neon decade. Expect sing-alongs and fancy dress. There’s also a Halloween Ultimate 80s Thriller edition.
  • 90s Reloaded – pop, Britpop, indie, house and pure nostalgia. A Halloween Fright Nights version runs too.
  • Back to the 2000s – Y2K pop, dance, garage, and club bangers. Look for Y2K Scares at Halloween.
  • Replay – different stages for 80s, 90s, 2000s and beyond, so mixed groups don’t need to compromise. Halloween gets the Time Warp Terror makeover.
  • We Love Ibiza – EDM, house and techno all weekend. Hands-in-the-air moments guaranteed.
  • We Love the 70s – disco, glam and soul from the platform-boot era.
  • Festival of the 60s – Beatles to Stones; a feel-good retro bill.
  • Bootleg Ball – wall-to-wall tribute acts (think ABBA, Elton John, Ed Sheeran — the next best thing).
  • Giants of Rock Bootleg Ball – louder, heavier tributes (Led Zep, AC/DC and more).
  • Shiiine On Weekender – indie and dance from the late 80s and 90s with serious swagger.
  • Soul – smooth grooves and feel-good sets; a laid-back, dance-all-night mix.
  • DJ Spoony presents A House Full of Garage – a garage masterclass hosted by Spoony.
  • Don’t Tell Mama (LGBTQ+) – pool parties, drag bingo, comedy, and club nights.
  • My Generation Weekender (Mods) – DJs, live acts, scooter displays, film Q&As, and scene culture.
  • Rockaway Beach – an indoor indie/alt festival with breakthrough and established acts.
  • Professional Darts Corporation – live majors (UK Open Finals or Players Championship Finals) across two stages.
  • Fatboy Slim – All Back to Minehead – the big one for rave veterans and party starters.

Line-ups vary by date, but names flagged for 2025 include Wet Wet Wet, Scouting for Girls, Soul II Soul, Vengaboys, B*Witched, Jason Donovan, Matt Goss and more. Check each Weekender’s page for who’s on your dates.
